Dawn is the period of twilight that immediately precedes the rise of the sun,
the symbol of hope and all the possibilities contained in the new day.

Je hoeft het niet alleen te doen h1>

Life is beautiful, yet it also has its dark sides. While we usually manage to cope with setbacks, sometimes past events can get in the way. Then a feeling of powerlessness overwhelms us and we lack the confidence to solve the problem ourselves.

As a psycho-social counsellor, I can help you if you are not feeling well, if you are going through stressful periods, if feelings of fear and panic are preventing you from enjoying life to the full or if you are struggling to come to terms with the loss of a loved one.

Together, we restore the balance between feelings, thoughts and behaviour, by letting go of old habits and beliefs. This is how we map out the route to a more balanced and happy life. This solution-oriented, low-threshold form of counselling is suitable for men, women, parents, couples and adolescents aged 12 and older.

Life has moments of joy and moments of grief and loss. Being a psychosocial counselor, I know that grief is a unique and personal process that feels different for everyone. Through my specialization in grief counseling, I can offer you that helping hand needed to assist and guide you through this difficult time.

Grief is a natural response to loss and can take many forms. Whether it is the loss of a loved one, divorce, loss of health, redundancy, or other life changes, I am here to support you.

Want to learn more about the various forms of grief and how I can help you with them? Read more about it on the page grief counseling.

I can assist you in developing coping strategies to manage stressors unique to your situation and help you explore your values, goals, and priorities in the context of your new environment, aiding in personal growth and self-discovery. If you need a counselor with extensive experience in dealing with expatriate challenges, please contact me.

-Pieter
