In short: What's your outlook on life and how do you interact with others, in the here-and-now. Contrary to what the name might suggest, this form of therapy is intended for mentally healthy people. For people who have a temporary problem and have enough resilience to solve it (with a little assistance of a professional).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">First, we''ll look for the origin of your complaint, question or problem. I will listen to your story  and try to find out where things might have gone wrong. Sometimes the solution appears to lie in a direction you had not thought of. When our goal is clear, we are going to look at your problem, situation or relationship from a different angle. We do this through conversations, experiential exercises and sometimes I will give you an assignment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Conversations, gaining insight and experimenting with new behaviors are steps to feeling better again. This allows you to tap into the alternatives already present within yourself.
