      I am Sylvia Frauenfelder, born in The Hague in 1962. For a long time I worked as a mediator at the Public Prosecutor's Office.<\/span><\/p>\n

      To counsel people in a more spirited way, I took the four-year course in Psychosocial Counseling at the Academy for Integral Humanities, specializing in system and contextual therapy.<\/span><\/p>\n

      I also specialized in grief counseling for siblings.\u00a0<\/span>I collaborated on the book \"Rouw in de zijlijn\" by Minke Weggemans, in which sisters tell about the loss of a sibling.<\/span><\/p>\n

      In 2007, I published my thesis for the Academy of Integral Humanities entitled 'Death ends a life, not a relationship: The death of a sibling. Misunderstood loss?<\/span><\/p>\n

      In addition to my work as a counselor, I also work at the District Attorney's Office as a victim coordinator. In this position, I counsel victims and\/or survivors of serious violence and vice cases, life crimes and traffic cases. For the people it has happened to, this is an intense period in their lives. I inform and assist these people as best I can throughout the legal process.<\/span><\/p>\n

      My interest is in what moves people, what inspires them and how they can develop further in dealing with themselves and their environment. Working as a psychosocial counselor has made my life richer and fuller.<\/span><\/p>\n

      To maintain my own balance between relaxation and working with clients, I enjoy walking my dog and singing in a Jazz combo.<\/span><\/p>\n

      I am continually amazed by the resilience of human beings. It inspires me to see how people can change in a very short period of time....<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>
